Kathy Rotenberger is a founding member of KJ Retirement Consultants. She has over 25 years of experience providing employee benefit consulting and administrative services to her clients.
Kathy works with all types of defined contribution plans, as well as health and welfare and flexible benefit plans. She identifies the best cost-efficient recordkeeping solutions for her clients. These solutions include various daily recordkeeping platforms as well as balance forward recordkeeping solutions.
Kathy takes a consultative approach when designing retirement plan programs and utilizes the plan document sponsored by KJ Retirement Consultants to provide the best plan design solutions to meet each client’s individual needs. These solutions may include cross-tested allocation strategies, safe harbor contribution designs to satisfy compliance testing issues, and automatic enrollment to increase participation.
James A. Dohnalek
Jim Dohnalek is a founding member of KJ Retirement Consultants. He has over 30 years of experience providing employee benefit consulting and administrative services to his clients.
Jim works with all types of defined contribution plans, and enjoys designing benefit plans that best meet the needs of the companies he works with while providing meaningful retirement benefits for their employees. This includes working with investment advisors and company personnel to develop communication strategies to increase employee participation.
Jim’s specialized area of expertise is Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs). Jim advises his ESOP clients on issues such as ESOP feasibility, plan design, repurchase liability forecasting and Section 409(p) testing. Jim is also an advocate for seamless daily valuation KSOP solutions. In addition, he is a frequent speaker on a variety of subjects related to ESOPs and 401(k) Plans at local, regional and national conferences.
